Welcome to Ross River Solar Farm
Ross River Solar Farm is a 148MW project located south of Townsville, Queensland. ESCO Pacific started developing the solar farm in late 2015 and secured development approval from Townsville City Council in 2016.
In February 2017 ESCO Pacific announced that the project had reached financial close with Palisade Investment Partners acquiring the solar farm. The project secured a 13-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with EnergyAustralia, one of the largest single solar PPA's in Australia at the time.
Downer Group was responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the project as well as Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract.
